I have had profound hearing loss in one ear due to an accident which resulted in a fractured skull and severed cranial nerves. I was looking for resolutions, Walkers hearing clinic gave all options to me, with empathy and compassion. I have also spoke to many other patients on my visits there, and all agreed and couldn't recommend the team more, as hearing loss can be quiet daunting for both older and younger patients. I have struggled with hearing loss and hearing aids for many years. From my first initial contact with Graham Walker at the Cork Summer Show and subsequent consultations in the Clinic at C.U.H. – my life has been turned around. From start to finish Graham, Anne and all the staff have been so professional, polite and accommodating. They are a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for making my life so much easier. Graham Walker has been my audiologist for the past two years. His equipment is state of the art and his service has been consistently personal, friendly, prompt and efficient. There’s always someone to answer his phone to make an appointment and you’re telephoned a day or two ahead of time to verify it; and if Graham says he will send you a replacement for a worn or lost hearing aid component he sends it. In truth I can’t think of any element of audiological service I could wish for that Walker Hearing doesn’t provide.

My wife has been suffering from hearing loss for a number of years’ we visited various hearing aid centers with not very much luck’ until by chance we paid a visit to the Walker Clinic’ where we were met with courteous clinical staff’ who really know their job. Graham the audiologist steered my wife through the process’ ear wax removal without pain or after effects’ and then the fitting and setting up of her hearing aids’ which has brought a new lease of life to her’ now the phone has it’s own meaning once again’ and she can converse to her hearts content among her friends. I went to Graham with my Mum who was full of anxiety as her hearing loss makes her feel vulnerable. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Graham and Anne are kind, professional and very patient. I found the aftercare to be exceptional. Graham is there to help. He answered all her questions and listened to all her concern, in short, he does his job with obvious compassion and is an integral part to my Mum being able to get on with your new improved life.

Graham and his team offer an excellent service at The Walker Hearing Clinic. I’ve taken one of my sons and my elderly Mum to their rooms at the Consultants’ Private Clinic at CUH and to Mellerick’s Pharmacy in Fermoy. On each occasion, the service was professional, kind & courteous. Graham was quick to diagnose the problems, he communicated the issues and he took immediate steps to remedy the problem, crucially resulting in restored hearing. I have no hesitation in recommending the Walker Hearing Clinic. Their service is second to none.
